Q. What do you mean by "limited edition" prints?
All prints on this site are limited to a production run of 50 signed and numbered reproductions. Once I have printed and sold 50 prints of a particular image that image is then retired and will not be available for any further reproduction.
Q. Why do you offer prints in various sizes?
I do this because I realize that customers have varying budgets and I would like my art to be as inclusive as possible. There is also the matter of decorating styles, not everyone wants the biggest print possible. Regardless of the size, there are still only 50 signed and numbered prints available of every image on this web site.

11X14 Print Only — $95
11X14 Matted — $110
11X14 Framed (and matted) — $150
16X20 mat and frame will be used for 11X14 prints

Q. How do you sign and number your prints?
I sign and number the prints on the actual print itself, not on the mat. By doing this, prints can be sold unmatted and unframed. Prints can also be re-matted at a later date without loosing the number and signature. When matted and/or framed prints are purchased the mat is cut larger then the print creating a natural white border around the print, this leaves room for the numbering and signature to be displayed.

Anything is possible. Please use the contact form if you have any questions about alternate frames or mats.
Q. Do you digitally enhance any of the pictures on this site?
Yes. My philosophy regarding digital manipulation of fine art photography is simple, if there is anything one can do to make the end result look better why not do it.
Q. Do you use only archival materials when matting and framing your prints?
Yes. All materials used are archival; this means that everything from the mat to the tape adhering the print to the mat is archival and acid free.
Q. How do you calculate your shipping and handling rates?
I charge a flat rate of $40 for shipping and handling. While this may seem expensive it is really quite costly to correctly and safely ship framed art. It's really the handling that is expensive (which I out source). At $40 I'm probably still taking a loss on the shipping but just can't bring myself to charge more. If you would like to come to Santa Cruz to pick up your order then of course you will not need to pay for shipping.
Q. Why do you charge sales tax?
You will only be charged sales tax if the ship to address is in California. Since I am located in California I am forced to charge sales tax to all orders in the state. Shipping is not taxed.
